Reva Tour 1.JPG

Made in the Piedmont Region of Italy

OFFERS PIEDMONT’S NOTABLE VARIETALS AND SINGLE VINEYARDS.

Réva is a winery started in 2012 by Miroslav Lekes with the aim of bringing novel wines to a traditionalist wine-growing area, following a freedom of expression and production.

The 'idea is to have a solid relationship with tradition, but not afraid to reinterpret it with creativity and innovation.

THE ORGANIC VISION
Réva has the privilege of cultivating a viticultural heritage that includes all the major expressions of Langhe wines.
Therefore, the intent is to harmonize with the surrounding landscape by respecting and enhancing it.
This is all part of a process of exchange with nature to preserve the biodiversity of the ecosystem during wine production.

THE CELLAR
Réva has created a production HUB capable of using innovative, state-of-the-art systems and technologies useful for the grape-to-bottle processing and transformation processes.
In the production facility, all tanks are temperature-controlled as are the processing, aging and storage rooms.
The technologies used enable high standards to be maintained in terms of quality and work safety.

The Lands

MONFORTE D'ALBA: This is the historic heart of the winery. At San Sebastiano, our vineyards stretch out in a splendid amphitheater of vineyards that welcomes all the varieties grown by Réva (nebbiolo, barbera, dolcetto sauvignon blanc and gris).

Open to the fresh air of the nearby Alps, with loamy-clay soils, it gives white wines rich in flavor, character, and elegant, persuasive red wines with balanced tannin.

NOVELLO (RAVERA) : Municipality that hosts the Ravera Additional Geographical Mention. Ravera is a "magical" area for Barolo, which here, thanks to soils rich in clay and limestone, acquires a noble and very elegant structure, connoted by a rich aromatic profile.

From this vineyard we obtain Barolo DOCG Ravera.

SERRALUNGA D'ALBA (LAZZARITO-CERETTA) :We cultivate within the Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva Lazzarito, a splendid and well-exposed vineyard that extends over half of the long promontory that makes up the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba. Also in the municipality is MGA Cerretta, a vineyard that dominates the northern part of the municipality. Both vineyards are of great vocation and quality and are recognized among the most prestigious cru of the appellation.

From this vineyard we obtain Barolo DOCG Lazzarito.

BAROLO (CANNUBI): One of the most famous vineyards in the world, Cannubi is the "King" of Barolo appellation crus, considered by many to be the historic heart of the appellation. Cannubi gives harmonious wines that are distinguished by elegant tannins.

From this vineyard we obtain the Barolo DOCG Cannubi.

GRINZANE CAVOUR: Grinzane Cavour is characterized by soils moved by deep creeks, well exposed to the south, with soils characterized by the famous Marne di Sant'Agata Fossili, in which there is a rich presence of clay, little sand and a medium amount of limestone. They give wines of good structure, excellent freshness and enveloping tannic texture.

Grapes from Grinzane Cavour are vinified separately and then blended to make our Barolo DOCG.

RODDINO: The parcels of Roddino are a self-sufficient microcosm far from any kind of chemical or industrial pollution: it is a free zone, in the heart of the Alta Langa, restored to integrate wine production with the forest, hazelnut groves and beekeeping.

Behind the Labels

Our wine labels for Réva are the creation of Petr Nikl, an internationally acclaimed artist and close friend of Réva. Originally from the Czech Republic, Petr visited Réva shortly after its opening and, inspired by tasting our wines, designed unique animal faces for each label. The expressions of the animals reflect the character of the wine—like the structured Barolo Lazzarito, represented by an angry owl, or the elegant Barolo Classico, depicted by a refined owl. Each label, drawn in pencil with subtle red or yellow accents for red or white wines, captures Petr's distinctive and recognizable artistic style.
