For over 100 years, the Recchia family located in the Veneto region has been mastering wine making. The family lives in the heart of Valpolicella, in the valley of Negrar. Wine making is in their blood. Their love for the local heritage and traditions makes their wines special.

Bardolino DOC
Poderi del Roccolo

Wine: Bardoliono D.O.C.

Grapes: 65% Corvina, 25% Rondinella, 10% Molinara

Region: Veneto Area: Eastern side of Garda Lake

Vineyard altitude: 900 feet

Vineyard exposure: South South/East

Vines average age: 15 years old

Nose: Fruity and floral scent: strawberries, raspberries and violets Taste: pleasantly fruity, balanced freshness, light

Food pairing: appetizers, pasta dishes, vegetables, white and red meat. Try it with cold seafood dishes

Custoza DOC
Poderi del Roccolo

Region: Veneto

Grape Verities: 40% Trebbiano, 40% Garganega, 20% Chardonnay Average age of Vineyards: 10-15 years with south-west exposure, 250-300 m height

Harvesting: Grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in the second half of August

Nose: floral and fruity scents of acacia, hawthorn, with hints of peach and tropical fruits

Taste: Pleasantly fruity, full-bodied, fresh and harmonious

Food Pairing: Excellent as an aperitif, perfect for appetizers of fish and shellfish, tasty soups, rice dishes, fish dishes of great cuisine

Le Muraie
Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC

Wine: Valpolicella Classico Superiore D.O.C. di Ripasso

Grapes: 65% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, 5% Molinara

Region: Veneto

Vineyard altitude: 900 feet

Vineyard exposure: South South/East

Vines average age: 15 years old

Nose: Rich scent of over ripen grapes

Taste: Intense yet soft. A warm, hearty, cheerful red, with velvety finish

Food Pairing: A wonderful accompaniment to any red meat dish, chicken and cheeses

Wine: Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva

Grapes: 55% Corvina, 25% Corvinone, 20% Rondinella

Region: Veneto

Vineyard exposure: South South/East

Vines average age: 30 years old

Nose: Rich scent of over ripe grapes, spicy, ethereal, reminds of brandied cherries

Taste: Intense yet harmonious. A warm, hearty, cheerful red, with very long, velvety finish

Nose: Clean and complex, with hints of maraschino cherries and vanilla
